Overview

In January 2019, the Australian Government announced a $216 million funding package to support growing tourism in Kakadu National Park and to support Jabiru transition to a post-mining future.

The Kakadu Tourism Master Plan will be a 10 year strategy to guide the Australian Government’s $51 million investment to support visitor planning and infrastructure upgrades across Kakadu, and will include improving key visitor experiences as well as identifying new visitor activities and investment opportunities in accordance with the Management Plan. A Road Strategy will also be developed to prioritise tourism road upgrades to support the Tourism Master Plan.

 

Why We Are Consulting

PwC Indigenous Consulting has been engaged to develop the Kakadu Tourism Master Plan.  Consultation will include with Kakadu’s Traditional Owners and Board of Management, the Northern Territory Government, and the broader tourism industry and community.

This survey is has been developed to provide an opportunity to contribute to the development of the Tourism Master Plan.
