National Landcare Program - Regional Land Partnerships Consultation Survey

Closed 23 Oct 2017

Opened 29 Sep 2017

The Australian Government is investing more than $1 billion in the National Landcare Program from July 2017 to June 2023.

The investment will primarily be delivered by the Department of the Environment and Energy and the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and will include a range of measures to support strong natural resource management and biodiversity.

Under the National Landcare Program, Regional Land Partnerships will provide $450 million over five years Australia-wide to deliver national priorities at a regional and local level.

The Department of the Environment and Energy and the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources are seeking the community’s input on the design and delivery of Regional Land Partnerships. All feedback provided will be considered as part of finalising the design of Regional Land Partnerships.

The consultation period commences on the 29th of September and ceases on the 23rd of October at 11:59 pm.

During this period, interested groups and members of the community can provide their feedback through:

· community information sessions to be held in selected cities

· an online consultation survey which will be open for the duration of the consultation period.
